Samburu National Reserve
Samburu National Reserve is a unique wildlife conservation haven famous for an abundance of“The Samburu Special Five.”They are rare species of animals which include; the Grevy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated giraffes, Beisa Oryx and Gerenuk. It’s situated on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro river, opposite the Buffalo springs. The reserve is a home to the Samburu, Borana and the Rendille who have rich cultural history.
