Tsavo East National Park
Tsavo National Park stands tall as a premier tourist hotspot in Kenya, drawing adventurers and wildlife enthusiasts from far and wide. Among its illustrious segments, Tsavo East emerges as a venerable jewel also known as “Theatre of The Wild” proudly holding the title of one of the oldest and most expansive parks in Kenya, spanning a vast territory of approximately 13,747 square kilometers.
Nestled within the semi-arid expanse once dubbed the Taru Desert, Tsavo East National Park finds its home in the picturesque landscapes of southwestern Kenya, within the bounds of Taita Taveta County. Despite its arid surroundings, this park boasts an abundance of life, with sprawling plains and dense vegetation providing a thriving habitat for a diverse array of wildlife.
Foremost among its inhabitants are the magnificent herds of elephants, whose familial bonds and majestic presence epitomize the untamed spirit of Tsavo East.
