Tour Plan

Upon arrival into the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly received by our office representative, who will introduce you to your professional guide accompanying you for the entire Safari.  You will embark on a scenic drive towards Samburu National Reserve arriving at the Camp for lunch. On arrival at the camp, you will check-in, have lunch and enjoy a well-deserved rest. At 1600hrs you will depart for the evening drive and later return to the camp for dinner and overnight. Full board accommodation at the Camp.
Waking up to the sound of wildlife and the birds is the perfect way to start your adventure in Samburu. After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will head out for your adventure with your guides. Later on in the morning,  your guides will select a conducive spot for you to enjoy your bush breakfast after which you will resume your game-viewing drive.  Nestled on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro River, Samburu National Reserve's unique landscape characterized by acacia forests, thorny bushes, and open grassland is home to different animal species. The reserve is just not about the Big 5 but is famously known for the  Samburu Special 5 which includes the reticulated giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx, and Grevy’s Zebra. Samburu National Reserve is rich in history with attractions like Kamunyak, the famous lioness that adopted a baby oryx. You will later return to the camp for a hot delicious lunch after which you will spend your afternoon at leisure. Later on in the evening, you will depart for an evening game drive and have a chance to see the sunset on the beautiful savannah and return to the camp to freshen up and relax. You will then enjoy your dinner and retire for the night. Full board accommodation at the Camp.
Arise with the Kenyan sunrise to a view of the beautiful landscape splashed with pink and gold. After a filling breakfast, you will head out to enjoy your early morning game drive. Sighting the different animals start their day in their natural habitat is a sight you wouldn’t want to miss out on.  Beyond its vast and alluring wildlife, Samburu has a vibrant, intriguing culture. You will pay a visit to one of the Samburu communities and be able to learn different aspects of their culture and their traditional way of life. From aspects ranging from their colorful attire to their intricate beadwork, you are guaranteed a glimpse into their way of life and learn how the community has maintained its customs and traditions throughout the test of time. You will then head back to the camp where a hot lunch will be served and you will spend your afternoon at leisure. You will later embark on an evening game drive and later return to the camp to freshen up and have your dinner. Full board accommodation at the Camp.

Unbelievable but true, your long-awaited safari has come to an end, hoping that your much awaited  vacation is filled with great memories to be shared with your  family and friends. We  look forward to hosting you again soon for another adventurous experience. 

This morning you will enjoy your sumptuous breakfast and check out from the camp. You will embark on a journey to Nairobi. Based on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to your hotel, residence or at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.
