Tsavo West National Park
Tsavo West National Park is ranked as the second largest national park in Kenya stretching across an impressive expanse of 9,065 square kilometers. Unlike its counterpart, Tsavo East, this park boasts a landscape characterized by rugged mountains and a wetter climate, punctuated by swamps, the tranquil Lake Jipe, and the iconic Mzima Springs.
While Tsavo West may not boast the highest wildlife densities found in some of Kenya’s more renowned parks, it remains a haven for a diverse array of iconic species, including the Big Five (Elephants, Rhinoceroses, Buffaloes, Lions, and Leopards. Amidst the stunning breathtaking views and varied habitats, you are treated to unforgettable sightings of these majestic creatures as they roam freely across the savannah.
One of the park’s most notable attractions is the legendary Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters gush forth from underground sources, sustaining a thriving ecosystem of aquatic life.
