Con mio marito siamo rientrati dal Kenya da alcuni giorni dove con African Trails Expeditions abbiamo fatto un safari che ci resterà impresso nella memoria per sempre. Era da tempo che volevamo fare questa esperienza, ma dobbiamo dire che la realtà ha superato l'immaginazione.
Esperienza assolutamente indimenticabile! In pochi giorni abbiamo visto davvero di tutto: leopardi, leoni, leonesse con i cuccioli, ghepardo, elefanti, rinoceronti, bufali, giraffe, ippopotami, coccodrillo, zebre, impala, gazzelle, tantissime antilopi, aquile e tantissime specie diverse di uccelli. Un ringraziamento speciale ai nostri fantastici driver Martin, Peter e Joseph e alle nostre eccezionali guide Floris e Nu, tutti molto professionali, preparatissimi e di grande esperienza. Our recent family safari in Kenya with Africa Trails was simply unforgettable. From the very first planning stages to the final transfer home, everything was organized with professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care.

What impressed us most was their ability to create a seamless experience while allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of Kenya. Every lodge and camp was carefully selected, offering excellent comfort, spectacular locations, and warm hospitality. The itinerary was perfectly balanced between adventure, wildlife viewing, relaxation, and cultural experiences.

The safari guides were exceptional. Their knowledge of wildlife, local ecosystems, and animal behavior was remarkable, and their passion for conservation was evident throughout the trip. Thanks to their expertise, we were able to witness incredible sightings, including the Big Five and many unforgettable moments that exceeded our expectations.

Traveling as a family, we particularly appreciated how Africa Trails paid attention to every detail, ensuring that both adults and children had an amazing experience. Transfers were punctual and comfortable, communication was always clear, and any questions or requests were handled quickly and efficiently.

Wow, unbelievable experience. One in our group of 10 had heard of African Trails Expeditions and suggested we give them a try. Talk about exceeding expectations. After leaving Nairobi we traveled to 5 different locations north and west of the city. They arranged for fabulous lodging/glamping at each place; where the meals were excellent. Along with twice daily excursions to see animals, they arranged for surprise events at lodges and during the safari rides. Nicolaus and Martin, our guides, were so invested in us having a great experience. They coordinated between each other and other guides to provide us so many opportunities to see different animals, scenic views, etc. They stopped for beautiful sunsets, made time for our requested stops for pictures, spotted animals we wouldn’t have seen, and changed direction in the middle of a ride to take the opportunity for a special sighting. They were just totally connected to what we needed to enjoy the trip and make each ride special. The animals and ecosystems were impressive, but the experience was enhanced so much by the extensive knowledge of the wildlife, birds, local history, foliage, and Kenyan culture provided to us by Nicolaus and Martin throughout our trip. I have traveled with many travel companies with structured trips and somewhat scripted presentations. The African Trails experience was structured, but there were so many pop-up opportunities that our guides took advantage of to broaden our experience, while ensuring we didn’t miss out on what was planned. What and how they exposed us to such a wonderful, memorable trip around Kenya set them apart from any previous tour. The weather was great, which certainly helped, but from the itinerary design, to the accommodations, to the interaction between staff and our group, things could not have been better. I highly recommend looking into this company for a safari experience, and more, in Kenya.

Ho fatto diversi safari con African Trails Expedition e ogni volta l'organizzazione è stata impeccabile. Martin è la migliore guida che si possa trovare in Kenya perché della savana conosce qualsiasi cosa: mammiferi, uccelli, insetti e piante, ma non solo.

I nostri drivers Martin e Peter sono stati insuperabili, ci hanno fatto vivere un’esperienza unica e indimenticabile..siamo riusciti a vedere tantissimi animali.. dal più piccolo al più grande dai Dic Dic agli Elefanti e non una volta ma in tutti i parchi in cui siamo stati..Vedere due leoni maschi con le femmine e i cuccioli che ruggiscono tutti insieme..credo sia stata una delle esperienze più forti della mia vita..ma non bastava e abbiamo anche potuto ammirare gli elefanti in gruppo che per proteggere il cucciolo ci hanno barrito contro

Ho partecipato a un safari , organizzato da questa agenzia...le mie aspettative nn sono state deluse. Un susseguirsi di emozioni difficili da spiegare. È stato come vivere in un documentario. Grazie anche alla professionalità dei nostri guide.

This was my second safari adventure in Kenya. The first one was with a large tour group. I loved it and didn’t think it could be topped, but African Trails Expeditions did. They customized the trip to meet the desires of the ten of us. They arranged for us to see varied landscapes while staying in some of the best lodges. We saw the Samburu Special Five, the Big Five and the Ugly Five. Our guides have to be two of the best in Africa. Nicolas’s and Martin’s thorough knowledge of animals, plants and the history of Kenya was amazing. Not one of our questions went unanswered. Mercy, who made all of our reservations and answered all of our pre-trip questions, also went above and beyond. By the time we left Kenya, they made us feel like family. If you want a trip designed to meet all of your Safari dreams, I highly recommend African Trails Expeditions. They are the best of the best.

We had an absolutely fantastic time on Safari and I am recommending it to all my friends! Mercy, Martin, and the African Trails Expeditions team were very responsive, happy to adjust to our needs and put together the perfect 5-night / 6-day itinerary.
A friend of mine referred me to the team because she had a positive experience, so I reached out very short-notice (2 weeks ahead of travel) but Mercy managed to put together great options despite last-minute travel, sent a detailed itinerary for 3 parks across Kenya, and booked everything for those 6 days so we didn't have to worry about anything.
One of our nights we actually asked to be moved to a different accommodation which was previously booked out (the one we stayed was a bit difficult/too bumpy to access due to the floods in May) and this worked perfectly (slight extra cost but worth it).
The absolutely cherry on top was our guide Peter who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, happy to adjust to our schedule (e.g. one morning we asked to see the sunrise) and you could sense he loves what he does and meeting people from different backgrounds. He was with us the whole time and made the experience extra memorable.
