Wilderness and Coastal escape
Wilderness and Coastal escape is a safari package that is customized to ensure that you immerse yourself in Kenya’s premier parks and amazing beach after you journey through the country’s untamed wilderness, each brimming with abundant wildlife.
Samburu National Reserve unveils a striking semi-arid terrain, where rugged shrublands interlace with picturesque riverine areas adorned by doum palms. This captivating landscape is sculpted by the meandering Ewaso Ngiro River, originating in the Aberdare ranges and flowing towards the Lorian Swamp. The reserve is renowned for its unique biodiversity, showcasing a plethora of wildlife specially adapted to the arid conditions, including species rarely seen elsewhere.
Wilderness and coastal escape safari takes you southwest, Lake Nakuru National Park which emerges as a sanctuary for birdwatchers, boasting an impressive array of over 400 bird species. The park’s fame extends beyond avian diversity to its conservation efforts for both white and black rhinos, reticulated giraffes alongside numerous other mammalian species that roam its verdant plains and woodlands.
In contrast, the Maasai Mara National Reserve beckons as an unparalleled wildlife destination, globally recognized for its role in the grand wildebeest migration. Here, the iconic Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros—share the wide spread savannah with numerous other predators and prey species, offering visitors an unparalleled safari experience in the heart of East Africa.
Venture further to Lake Naivasha, a tranquil freshwater lake offering serene boat rides amidst the tranquility of its waters. Encounter pods of hippos lazily wallowing in the shallows and delight in the melodious songs of an extensive variety of birdlife that call this scenic lake home.
Amboseli National Park, nestled in the shadow of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, stands as a testament to Kenya’s natural splendor. Renowned for its large herds of elephants traversing vast expanses of acacia-dotted plains, Amboseli provides breathtaking views of the continent’s highest peak, creating an iconic backdrop for unforgettable wildlife encounters.
In Tsavo West National Park, embark on exhilarating game drives across diverse landscapes that range from volcanic hills to expansive savannahs. Here, the swift cheetah dashes across the plains while regal lions bask beneath the shade of ancient acacia trees. The park’s crown jewel, Mzima Springs, invites exploration of its crystal-clear waters, where hippos submerge gracefully and crocodiles lurk stealthily—a testament to the intricate balance of life within this unique oasis.
Tsavo East, fondly referred to as the “Theatre of the Wild,” holds a distinguished status as one of Kenya’s oldest and largest national parks. Its expansive landscapes provide an enchanting backdrop for game-viewing drives, cultural encounters with local communities, and moments of quiet reflection amidst the untamed wilderness.
For those seeking respite along Kenya’s south coast, Diani Beach stands out as an unspoiled paradise of pristine white sands and azure waters teeming with marine life. The beach’s extensive shoreline offers idyllic settings for relaxation and water sports, complemented by vibrant coral reefs that beckon exploration beneath the waves.
The Wilderness and Coastal Escape safari in Kenya presents an unparalleled opportunity to immerse oneself in the country’s diverse natural beauty and vibrant cultural heritage.
Throughout this safari, travelers not only connect with Kenya’s natural splendor but also engage with its rich cultural tapestry. Opportunities abound to interact with local communities, gaining insights into age-old traditions and lifestyles that have harmoniously coexisted with the land for centuries.
